Golfland Awarded
Granville Golfland was recently honored as a Mitchell Golf Partner related to golf club repairs. The Mitchell Partners program recognized only the best club repair shops worldwide when making their partner selections. There are fewer than 100 recognized parteners in the entire world. Mitchell Golf is recognized as the premier club repair parts and machine source in the world. Their equipment is used on the PGA, LPGA, Nationwide, European and Asian Tours among others.
To gain Mitchell status, Granville Golfland is certified to perform all types of repairs, including grip installation, reshafting, frequency analysis and loft/lie alterations. Golfland also utilizes a Zelocity Launch Monitor to fit clubs and to determine what alterations a player may need to his or her current clubs in order to upgrade their performance. Mitchell equipment is utilized in much of Granville Golfland's performance upgrade work.
The majority of the repair work is performed by Jeff Jackson, who is well-versed in all types of golf club design and alteration. Jackson has taught club repair classes throughout the world and has authored numerous articles related to upgrading the performance of golf clubs. He has taught club repair to members of the PGA of America and has traveled to Canada and Australia to teach as well. He is a regular speaker concerning club repair at the Professional Clubmaker's Society yearly expo.
