Trackman Fitting System

TrackMan™ is here!!! Granville Golfland is the only public golf facility in
The choice of the PGA Tour, USGA, and R & A, it has set the industry standard for accuracy. Delivering real-time data and graphics on club movement, ball launch, the flight and landing.
TrackMan™ is used by the world’s leading tour players and coaches, equipment manufacturers, golf academies, golf courses, club fitters and by golf’s governing bodies: the USGA and R & A. Its industry leading accuracy and easy to use interface enable you to provide a new level of service and performance to your customers, clients and students. TrackMan™ measures the full trajectory of any shot, ranging from short pitches to 400-yard drives and measures the landing position with an accuracy of 1 foot at 100 yards.
From Monday to Wednesday nearly every week of the PGA, LPGA and European Tour seasons the world’s greatest players use TrackMan™. They test and tweak their clubs with it, practice approach shots, check gap fitting, or simply use it for shot analysis. During the majors, it is the unit used to monitor player performance during the tournaments, while broadcast TV uses it to add value to their coverage. When you see shots being tracked on TV, it’s TrackMan™ that’s doing it!
The experience of watching golf on TV has changed considerably in the last decade. The many advances in technology has resulted in higher expectations from the viewers regarding what to experience during TV coverage. Showing the ball in the air or a leader board is no longer enough!
Using TrackMan™ during tournaments takes live golf coverage to a higher level. TrackMan™ provides the broadcasters with actual shot data and ball flight trajectories, which gives commentators additional information to comment on. Instead of guessing where the ball is going, viewers can follow the entire trajectory live superimposed on a graphical representation of the golf hole and learn how the professional players manage the course.
TrackMan™ measures not only swing speed, ball speed, launch angle and ball spin, it also measures sidespin, impact angles, vertical and horizontal swing planes, carry distance and total distance. It can be set to determine exactly how far you hit each club. Its practice mode allows us to pick a distance (say 100 yards for example) and see how accurately you hit shots to that distance. Wondering what ball you should play? TrackMan™ can tell you that through its ball fitting mode.
TrackMan™ can be used not only in driver fitting, iron and hybrid fitting and ball fitting, but can be used a lesson and teaching tool as well. Ask us about Trackman the next time you’re at Golfland or call us to set up a fitting appointment – if you want the best fit in
